TIP TUESDAY- INTERNATIONAL STUDENT VISA

Canada has one of the best educational systems in the world. Its educational institutions are of top quality and the certificates are acceptable globally. If you desire to further your education and also have sufficient funds, Canada is one of the best places to consider.

As an international student (Nigerian) going to Canada to 'Study and Work'. Below are necessary tips you need to bear in mind

- The job you secure might not cover your tuition although you will be able to work for up to 20 hours every week, hence you need to have sufficient funds or a sponsor who does (minimum of 5 million) as you will require proof of adequate finances to study in Canada otherwise your application might be denied even when you get admitted into any of the institutions.

There are typically no full scholarships for Canadian universities especially for International students and at the entry level so you will have to be able to pay the large portion of your tuition and living expenses.

- You need to know the course you intend to study as we can help you with the institution. Carry out research, surveys and streamline to the course of your interest to know most if not all the thing you need to know.

- In order to study for PGD, you are expected to have good grades (60% of the total course) in any relevant undergraduate degree program and you also require IELTS and GMAT or GRE.

P.s: You need to show enough evidence that you intend coming back to your home country at the end of your study duration (even though the case might be otherwise)

International graduates have the opportunity to become Canada Permanent Residents
