#TipTuesday

Most people believe that once you have been granted admission to study abroad, the rest "Na beans" meaning the remaining process becomes easy but that is not always the case as you may be denied visa even with all the complete necessary documents. Below are tips to guide your way through an interview when applying for the student visa.

WHAT TO DO DURING THE INTERVIEW

> You should dedicate your full attention to the officer or the translator at the interview. Make sure to listen carefully, think before you answer and keep your answers short and to the point.

> You can research online the most common questions at the visa interviews to prepare yourself and your answers. It is important to prepare an explanation for some of the most common visa interview questions.

> Common questions can include: why you want to go to the university you chose, what you are going to study, what your career goal is after you graduate, and others similar to these.

*BE CLEAR THAT YOU WILL RETURN HOME AFTER GRADUATION

> This is important, so make sure to reiterate this point and illustrate on a few examples that you are planning on coming back to your home country after graduating.
Finally, be confident, stay calm and smile. Project a positive and confident image, and you are going to have a successful student visa interview.
